This is the Saiho series of gamaguchi (clasp-style) jewelry pouches. Made with classic tartan-check fabric, it has an elegant and timeless look. Despite its compact size, it can neatly carry necklaces, earrings, rings, charms, small brooches, and other accessories.

The gamaguchi clasp opens and closes with one touch, and the wide opening makes it easy to see and reach what is inside. A gusset built into the opening helps keep items from falling out, even when the pouch is fully open. It also acts as a cushion, helping prevent jewelry from getting caught in the metal clasp.

The name Saiho (彩包) expresses the wish for a pouch that gently wraps colorful accessories.

The idea for this series came from small inconveniences I experienced in daily life. I once carried a necklace in a slim gamaguchi pouch without a gusset. Its chain slipped through a gap, nearly got caught in the clasp, and felt at risk of falling out when I took it out.

I loved the classic gamaguchi shape, so I wanted to solve those frustrations and make a pouch that would let me carry accessories with confidence. Adding an inner gusset brought those ideas together in a safer, more practical design.

I hope this little pouch gently protects your favorite accessories and adds a touch of color to your everyday life.

Size: 4.5 cm (6.0 cm) × 6.5 cm × 1.0 cm / 1.8 in (2.4 in) × 2.6 in × 0.4 in. The measurements in parentheses include the clasp knob. The interior dimensions are slightly smaller due to construction.
